Mahjong Connect
Mahjong Connect is a board game that also goes by the names MahJongCon, Shisen-Sho or Nikakudori. It’s a variation of mahjong solitaire. Clear the tiles from the board by connecting the matching pairs.
How to Play Mahjong Connect
The aim is to complete each of the 12 levels before the time runs out. To clear away the tiles, you can match the identical pairs. However, you can’t just select any random tile. The pairs can only be matched if you can draw a line between them. This line may take no more than two 90-degree turns, and cannot pass through any other tiles.
Mahjong Connect Strategy
Unlike traditional mahjong, this version is designed to be played alone. It used the same traditional Chinese tiles, such as the circles, the bamboos, and the numbers. To clear the tiles, you can work around the edges of the arrangement, and search for matching tiles that are placed right next to one another. If you get stuck, you can use one of your 5 hints to figure out your next move.
Release Date
The original Flash version of this game first appeared online in May of 2009. This HTML5 mobile compatible version was released in April of 2017.
